45 year old Suraiya Masih is from a Christian family whose husband works as a daily labourer while she looks after the home and their children.

Her domestic work was affected when she started to lose vision in one of her eyes. She confided in her husband and they visited a local doctor who told them that Suraiya had a cataract that would need to be operated on.

Hearing this, her husband became very distressed and said, "How can I bear such an expense?" Luckily they were informed about LRBT Eye Hospital, where Suraiya received surgery free of charge!

Suraiya is jubilant to have her sight restored and grateful to GLT for being able to take good care of her children and run her home well.
