Sightsavers x LRBT

Sightsavers x LRBT

According to the World Health Organisation (WHO) and World Bank Report on Disability, in Pakistan an estimated 9.6 years of health is lost as a result of disability. That's why Sightsavers International have partnered with our sister charity LRBT to carry out essential eye camps in rural areas as part of their 'Right to Health' programme, funded by UK Aid. The programme aims to reduce poverty and contribute to achieving the global Sustainable Development Goals by focusing on ensuring health services are accessible for people with disabilities and other marginalised groups. Through this partnership, targeted health services in remote areas will contribute to developing a society where all people can access services in line with the Department for International Development's disability framework.
