In Pakistan, 8,000 children are diagnosed with eye cancer each year. Half of them have no access to a healthcare facility and many die because they seek help once the cancer is far advanced. The most common eye cancer is Retinoblastoma and occurs in children, often as young as a day old. It can affect both eyes and multiple children of the same family, who can pass it on to the next generation.
We monitor our cancer patients for 10 years to ensure they remain cancer-free.
